Patent Licensing
Michaud optimization (Resampled EfficiencyTM), Forecast ConfidenceTM, and Michaud-Esch Rebalancing are covered by the claims of patents, issued and pending, in the US and other countries, including US Patent Nos. 6003018, 6928418, 7412414, and 7624060. U.S. law provides that any use, within the United States of a patented invention during the term of the patent and without the authority of the patent owner is an infringement of the patent, while corresponding provisions apply in other jurisdictions. Any party contemplating the use of a patented article or process, as defined by the claims of a patent, must obtain authorization of the patent owner before beginning any use. A request for permission to use the invention should specify, as completely as possible, the nature of the intended use.
Permission to use our patented processes may be granted to institutional clients based on the following fee schedule. Licensing the patent does not include our software or our consulting services.

Maximum Fee: $3,000,000/year

Over $1 billion, but not over $5 billion | $50,000 plus 0.0050% of the excess over $1 billion |
Over $5 billion, but not over $25 billion | $250,000 plus 0.0025% of the excess over $5 billion |
Over $25 billion, but not over $100 billion | $750,000 plus 0.0010% of the excess over $25 billion |
Over $100 billion, but not over $400 billion | $1,500,000 plus 0.0005% of the excess over $100 billion |
